Co-creating a Brighter Future, Together

“If you do not initiate the young, they will burn down the village to feel the heat”
- Adapted from an African proverb

Our vision is for Way Finders to become the modern Rite of Passage, offering young people from across the country a journey of self discovery; helping them to find their purpose in society and successfully transition into adulthood.

We aim to offer a more 'being' based alternative to The Duke of Edinburgh Award, where we focus on mindfulness, inclusive communication, slowing down and emotional intelligence.

Once established and we have refined the
programme, we aim to provide a teacher training offering that skills-up teachers to deliver the programme themselves, thus building a national network of facilitators that can offer Way Finders Programmes to young people across the country. Our goal is to have 100,000 young people participate in the programme in the next 7 years.
